Organize Assets With Folders

Written by Erika

Use Organize to browse, collect, and manage assets inside a brand. Folders let you group useful outputs by campaign, channel, product line, review stage, or handoff.

Folders do not move the original asset out of its source area. They are collections that make useful assets easier to find later.

What You Can Organize

The Organize page lets you browse assets across the selected brand.

Tabs can include:

  • Folders

  • Photoshoots

  • Images

  • Batch, where enabled

  • Uploads

  • Videos

Use these tabs to find existing assets, search or sort where available, open assets, and collect useful work into folders.

Folders are brand-specific. Assets saved in one brand's folders are not shared into another brand.

Create A Folder In Organize

Use this when you want to set up a folder before adding assets.

  1. Open Organize from the side navigation.

  2. Select the Folders tab.

  3. Choose New folder.

  4. Give the folder a clear name.

  5. Create the folder.

Use names that describe the job of the folder, such as Summer launch paid social, PDP hero shortlist, Approved UGC-style images, or September email banners.

Add Assets From A Folder

Use this when you are already inside a folder and want to add more assets to it.

  1. Open Organize.

  2. Select the Folders tab.

  3. Open the folder you want to update.

  4. Choose Add more items where available.

  5. Browse or search the available assets.

  6. Select the assets you want to add.

  7. Confirm the selection.

Add Assets From A Grid

You can also add assets while browsing creative outputs.

  1. Open the relevant area, such as Photoshoots, Images, Videos, Batch, or Organize.

  2. Find the asset you want to save.

  3. Use the Add to folder action where it appears on the asset card or hover controls.

  4. Choose an existing folder or create a new one from the folder picker.

  5. Confirm the action.

This is useful when you are choosing strong outputs as you work and do not want to leave the current grid.

Add Assets From An Open Preview

If you have already opened an asset, you can add it to a folder from the preview actions.

  1. Open the asset so it appears in the larger preview view.

  2. Select the Add to folder action.

  3. Choose an existing folder, or create a new one if that option is available.

  4. Confirm the folder selection.

Use this when you are inspecting an image or video at a larger size and decide it should be saved into a campaign folder, shortlist, or handoff set.

Open And Use A Folder

Open a folder when you want to review or hand off a curated set of assets.

From a folder, you can browse the assets that have been added to it. Depending on the asset type and your workspace, you may be able to open, download, edit, or continue working from those assets.

Folders are useful for:

  • campaign shortlists

  • approved final assets

  • assets for a specific channel

  • product-line collections

  • review sets for a teammate

  • assets that should be reused as references later

Good Folder Habits

  • Keep folders focused. A folder should have a clear purpose.

  • Use plain names that teammates will understand.

  • Create separate folders for different campaigns, channels, or review stages.

  • Add only useful assets. Do not use folders as a dumping ground for every generation.

  • Save strong references into folders so they are easy to find in future workflows.

Troubleshooting

I deleted a folder. Did I delete the assets?

No. Deleting a folder removes the collection, not the original assets. The assets remain available in their source area.

I cannot find an asset I added

Check that you are in the correct brand and folder. Also check whether a search, sort, or filter is hiding the asset.

I cannot see Add to folder

The available actions can vary by asset type and where you opened the asset from. If you do not see Add to folder on a grid card, open the asset preview and check the preview actions.

My folder is getting hard to use

Split broad folders into smaller sets. For example, use separate folders for Meta ads, PDP images, Email banners, and Reference images instead of one large launch folder.
