How to set up MCP access

Connect Riverflow to an MCP-compatible chatbot like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or Langdock so you can create images, videos, ads, scenes, styles, and products directly from your chatbot.

MCP lets you connect Riverflow to tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Langdock, and other MCP-compatible chatbots.

Once connected, you can use your chatbot to create photoshoots, images, videos, ads, scenes, styles, and products using Riverflow.

Step 1: Open the MCP access page

Go to:

Or locate MCP within the side navigation in the Riverflow App.

Step 2: Choose your chatbot

In the top-right dropdown, choose the chatbot or agent you want to connect.

The options are:

  • Claude

  • Claude Enterprise

  • ChatGPT Web

  • ChatGPT Desktop / Codex

  • Langdock

  • Other MCP client

Step 3: Follow the setup instructions

After choosing your chatbot, Riverflow will show the correct setup steps for that tool.

Follow the instructions shown on the page exactly. These may include copying a connection URL, choosing an authentication method, or authorising Riverflow.

Step 4: Start using Riverflow from your chatbot

Once connected, you can ask your chatbot to use Riverflow.

Example prompts:

  • “Create a photoshoot using my hero product in a bright summer picnic scene.”

  • “Generate three ecommerce images for this product with clean studio lighting.”

  • “List my scenes, styles, and products so I can choose the right assets.”

Good to know

  • Your Riverflow subscription credits can be used in the app or via MCP.

  • To use a different Riverflow team, reconnect MCP and choose the correct team during authorisation.

  • MCP setup can sometimes be fiddly the first time.

If you get stuck, contact us through Live Chat and tell us which chatbot you’re trying to connect.
