Riverflow has two main ways to create static image ads: Generate and Instant.
Use Generate when you want Riverflow to create ad variations from a template, copy, brand assets, and selected image inputs. Use Instant when you want to start from a layered template and customise it directly in the editor.
Choose The Right Ads Workflow
Use Generate when:
you want Riverflow to create several ad variations
you have a product, image, or existing asset to use
you want to test copy and layout variations
you want Riverflow to adapt copy to a selected template
you are comfortable reviewing generated outputs before editing or downloading
Use Instant when:
you want a faster template-led workflow
you already know the layout you want
you want direct layer control
you mainly need to replace assets or edit copy
you do not need Riverflow to generate a new creative concept
Use the Ads Agent when you want help planning the campaign, deciding ad types, or turning a loose brief into a structured ad generation plan.
Create Ads With Generate
Open Ads.
Select Generate.
Choose a template.
Add the ad copy.
Choose whether the copy should be used exactly or adapted.
Add the required image assets for the template slots.
Add a logo if the template needs one.
Choose brand colours and fonts where available.
Choose the aspect ratio.
Choose the number of outputs.
Generate the ads.
Review the results before using them.
Choose Strong Inputs
Ads generation works best when the template, copy, and assets all point in the same direction.
Before generating, check:
the selected template matches the ad type you want
product images are clear and relevant
logos are high-quality and on-brand
copy is short enough for the format
the selected aspect ratio matches the intended channel
colours and fonts match the brand
If the ad is for a specific offer, claim, testimonial, or launch date, include that information clearly. Do not ask Riverflow to invent factual claims, discounts, reviews, or compliance language.
Remix a Generated Ad
Use Remix when a generated ad is close and you want to create more variations from the same setup.
Remix is for ads created with Generate. It loads the Ads control panel with the ingredients that were used to generate that ad. This can include the template, copy, copy-adaptation setting, selected image assets, logo, brand colours, fonts, aspect ratio, and output count where available.
Open the generated ad you want to build from.
Select
Remix.Check the loaded Ads control panel.
Adjust the template, copy, assets, logo, colours, fonts, aspect ratio, or output count.
Generate again.
Remix creates new generated ad variations. It does not directly edit the existing ad image. Use Review and Edit Ads when you need to edit, translate, download, or make canvas changes to the current output.
Instant ads are edited directly in the canvas workflow. They are not remixed through the Generate control panel.
Create Ads With Instant
Open
Ads.Select
Instant.Browse the available layered templates.
Filter by category, subcategory, or aspect ratio where available.
Choose the template that best matches the ad you need.
Customise the template in the canvas editor.
Replace images, logos, or text layers as needed.
Review the finished design.
Save or download the ad.
Instant Ads are useful when the design structure is already right and you want to make controlled edits quickly.
Review Finished Ads
After generation, open each ad and check it before using it.
Review:
product accuracy
logo accuracy
text spelling and line breaks
claim accuracy
visual hierarchy
crop and aspect ratio
readability on mobile
whether the ad matches the selected channel or campaign purpose
Creative placeholder: completed ads grid with open ad preview.
Edit Or Create More Variations
After an ad is created, you can open it and continue working.
Depending on the asset and workspace state, you may be able to:
edit it in Editor
make text editable
download it
add it to a folder
use Remix to create more generated variations from the same setup
give feedback on the result
Use Editor for one-off changes. Use Batch only when a repeatable change needs to run across many ad images (such as changing aspect ratio or translating ads)
Troubleshooting
The Copy Does Not Fit
Shorten the copy, switch to adapted copy, or choose a template with more room for text. If the design is otherwise good, edit the text layer in Editor.
The Wrong Asset Appeared
Check the template slots and selected assets. Some templates need specific image roles, such as product, lifestyle image, logo, or background.
The Ad Looks Off-Brand
Check the Brand Kit, selected colours, selected fonts, logo, and template choice. Use a more specific prompt or choose a template closer to the desired brand style.
The Product Looks Wrong
Use a clearer product image, choose a more suitable template, or edit the output before use. If the same product correction needs to happen across many ads, consider Batch.
