Connect TikTok Shop

Connect TikTok Shop when you want to use products from your TikTok Shop seller account inside Riverflow.

Once connected, Riverflow imports TikTok Shop products into the selected Riverflow brand. Changes made in TikTok Shop to product titles, descriptions, images, and listing status sync into Riverflow automatically. Changes made in Riverflow only publish back to TikTok Shop when you choose to sync them.

You need:

Check that you are in the correct Riverflow brand before starting. TikTok Shop connections are brand-specific, so connecting from the wrong brand can make imported products appear in the wrong workspace.

One TikTok Shop seller account cannot be connected to multiple Riverflow brands at the same time.

Riverflow imports products from every shop authorised on the connection. You do not select individual shops in Riverflow.

Use this path when you start the connection from TikTok Shop rather than from inside Riverflow.

After a new connection, Riverflow automatically queues the first product import.

You can track progress on the TikTok Shop page in Riverflow. The first import may take a little time, depending on the size of the catalogue.

If you want to run the import again, select Import all products. This is safe to rerun. Riverflow skips products it has already imported.

TikTok-linked products can be used like other products in Riverflow once they are available.

When a product is changed in TikTok Shop, Riverflow can sync the TikTok title, description, images, and listing status into the linked Riverflow product.

Imported products remain tied to the Riverflow brand where the TikTok Shop connection was made.

Riverflow does not publish changes back to TikTok Shop automatically.

To publish supported changes back to TikTok Shop:

Save only saves the change in Riverflow. It does not publish the change to TikTok Shop.

From Riverflow, you can sync supported product title and product detail page image changes back to TikTok Shop.

TikTok Shop descriptions are read-only in Riverflow. Edit descriptions in TikTok Shop, then let the product sync back into Riverflow.

Before using Save and sync to TikTok Shop, check that the product is ready to publish.

On the TikTok Shop page, you may see these connection statuses:

Reconnect if the connection expires or TikTok asks you to authorise access again.

Disconnecting stops future TikTok Shop sync for that Riverflow brand.

Imported products stay in the original Riverflow brand as unlinked products. They are not moved to another brand. They may be hidden unless Show unlinked TikTok products is enabled in Products filters.

If the wrong brand was connected, disconnect TikTok Shop from the incorrect brand, then reconnect from the correct brand. Reconnecting to the correct brand does not remove the old imported products from the incorrect brand.

Disconnect only when you are sure the brand should no longer sync with that seller account.

Disconnect TikTok Shop from the incorrect brand, then reconnect from the correct brand.

Products already imported into the incorrect brand will remain there as unlinked products. Use Show unlinked TikTok products if you need to find them.

Open TikTok Shop in Riverflow and check the import progress.

If no import is running, select Import all products. Riverflow skips products it has already imported.

Open Products, then filter by Source and select TikTok Shop.

If you are looking for products from an old or disconnected TikTok connection, also enable Show unlinked TikTok products.

Check that you selected Save and sync to TikTok Shop, not just Save.

Also check that the product meets the publishing requirements for title, description, image count, image size, and image format.

TikTok Shop descriptions are read-only in Riverflow. Edit the description in TikTok Shop, then let the product sync back into Riverflow.

Open TikTok Shop in Riverflow and reconnect the seller account. You may need to sign in to TikTok again and approve Riverflow's access.

Check that the TikTok account you authorised has access to the shops you expected to connect.

Riverflow imports from every authorised shop on the connection. If a shop is missing, it may not have been authorised for the TikTok account you used.
