Riverflow is organised around teams and brands. Use this guide to understand the difference between them, how they affect access and billing, and why work created in one brand does not appear in another.
If you are brand new to Riverflow, start with How Riverflow Works first. Use Navigate Riverflow for a guide to the main sidebar areas.
Teams and Brands
A Team is the overall Riverflow account. It is tied to payment, subscription, credits, team members, and account-level access.
A Brand is a specific workspace inside a team. Brands are used to keep different brands, clients, product lines, or business units separate.
A team can have many brands. The number of brands you can create depends on your subscription tier.
When you onboard to Riverflow for the first time, you create both:
a team
a brand
What Belongs To A Team
Team-level settings include:
subscription and billing
credits
team members
team-level access
the set of brands available inside the team
If you need to manage people, billing, or subscription-level settings, check that you are in the right team.
What Belongs To A Brand
Brand-level work stays inside the selected brand.
These are specific to a brand:
products
custom scenes
custom styles
references
characters
generated images
generated ads
generated videos
generated audio
folders
Batch jobs and outputs
These items are not shared across brands within the same team.
If you switch from one brand to another, the workspace may look empty or different.
That usually means you are viewing a different brand, not that your work has disappeared.
Choose The Right Team And Brand
Sign in to Riverflow.
Choose your team if Riverflow asks you to select one.
Use the team switcher if you need to move to another team.
Use the brand selector to choose the brand you want to work on.
Check the selected brand before creating, editing, importing, or generating anything.
Before running important workflows, check the selected brand. This is especially important before:
importing products
creating products
creating scenes or styles
creating references or characters
generating Photoshoots
running Batch jobs
inviting teammates into brand access
Create Another Brand
When you first onboard, Riverflow creates your initial team and brand.
If you want to create more brands later, click on your brand name in the top left hand corner of the side bar (above Home), then click ‘Create new brand’.
Create another brand when you need a separate workspace for:
a different customer brand
a different company brand
a different product line that should stay separate
a client workspace
a testing workspace that should not mix with live brand assets
Tips
Check the selected brand before creating or importing anything.
Use separate brands when assets should not be shared.
Do not expect products, custom scenes, custom styles, references, characters, or AI outputs to appear across brands.
If a teammate cannot see something, confirm they are in the right team and have access to the right brand.
Use folders to organise assets inside a brand. Use brands to separate workspaces.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find the brand I need
Switch to the correct team first. If the brand still does not appear, ask a team admin to confirm that you have access.
I can sign in, but I do not see any team
You may not have been added to a team yet. Ask a teammate to invite you.
I changed brands and now the workspace looks different
That is expected. Products, scenes, styles, references, characters, folders, and AI outputs are brand-specific.
I created something in the wrong brand
Switch back to that brand and review the work there. Items do not automatically move when you switch brands. If the asset needs to be recreated or moved, contact support.
I do not see team or billing settings
Your account may not have team admin access for the selected team.
What To Do Next
