Ads Agent (Alpha)

Written by Erika

Riverflow Agent is currently in Alpha. Right now, the Alpha is focused on Ads: it helps you turn a loose ad request into a structured static ads plan.

Agent will be expanded into Photoshoots, Images, Video, and Batch workflows soon. For now, use this guide for the Ads Agent Alpha only.

For full access to all Riverflow platform features, we recommend Riverflow MCP which is the most popular way to generate at scale.

Because this is an Alpha feature, it is still developing. The experience, supported actions, and availability may change. Use it for early access to agent-assisted ad planning and generation, and review the plan and outputs carefully before using them.

Use it when you know the commercial goal, product, or campaign direction, but want help deciding which ads to create and what inputs Riverflow should use. The agent can plan static ads, infographics, and layered graphics.

When To Use The Ads Agent Alpha

Use the Ads Agent Alpha when you want help with:

  • turning a short brief into ad concepts

  • deciding which product assets to use

  • planning a Meta-style static ad campaign

  • creating testimonial-style ads

  • creating product detail or PDP infographics

  • making layered static graphics

  • exploring several ad angles before generation

Use the normal Ads Generate or Instant workflows when you already know exactly what template, copy, and assets you want.

Start A Request

  1. Open Ads.

  2. Select Try our Ads Agent!, or open the Agent area if your workspace uses the dedicated agent route.

  3. Describe the ad task in plain language.

  4. Include the product, goal, audience, channel, offer, and format if you know them.

  5. Answer any follow-up questions the agent asks.

Good starting prompts:

Create five Meta ads for this product focused on first-time buyers. Use the product's strongest lifestyle image and keep the copy benefit-led.
Make PDP-style infographic ads for this product. Focus on the three most important product benefits and use a clean ecommerce layout.
Turn this product into a simple static ad campaign with one offer-led ad, one testimonial-style ad, and one product benefit ad.

What Context The Ads Agent Can Use

The Ads Agent can work with available Riverflow context, such as:

  • products

  • product images

  • product-linked photoshoots

  • selected assets

  • brand logos

  • templates

  • generated ads

  • recent ad context

It may look up product or visual context before drafting a plan. It may also ask follow-up questions when the request is ambiguous or the required input is missing.

If a product, testimonial, claim, offer, or legal message must be exact, provide it directly. Do not rely on the agent to invent factual claims.

Review The Plan

The Ads Agent should propose a plan before generation.

Review:

  • the ad types it plans to create

  • the product or asset context it selected

  • the intended copy direction

  • any claims, testimonials, prices, or offers

  • the number of outputs

  • the intended visual direction

  • whether any missing information needs to be supplied

If something is wrong, correct it before confirming. For example, ask the agent to use a different product image, remove an unsupported claim, make the copy shorter, or focus on a different audience.

Confirm Generation

When the plan is correct, confirm that the agent should generate the ads.

Review the Outputs

After generation, the outputs appear in the right-hand grid. Open any output from the grid to view it in more detail.

To review, edit, download, or make AI and canvas changes to an ad output, follow Review and Edit Ads.

Current Alpha Limits

The Ads Agent Alpha currently supports Ads workflows only. It is not yet available for Photoshoots, Images, Video, or Batch workflows.

Because it is in Alpha:

  • availability may be limited by workspace

  • behaviour and supported actions may change

  • some requests may need extra clarification or rephrasing

  • every plan and output should be reviewed before use

It should not be used to:

  • invent testimonials, reviews, discounts, or product claims

  • publish ads directly to ad platforms

  • scrape external URLs

  • edit arbitrary files outside Riverflow context

  • replace human approval for regulated, legal, or brand-sensitive copy

Use it to plan and generate ad creative, then review the output before using it.
